Awe-inspiring metalwork in Morocco
I was intrigued by the jewellery and crafts I saw on visits to Morocco and Turkey, the sensual way the metal responded to the movement of the body. These earrings make a delicate tinkling sound as they dance from the ear.
The bracelet too, makes a subtle sound as the hammered silver discs and flat circles jangle gently together. Fit for a mysterious bellydancer!
My brief notes- mainly to record the thickness of wire used and keep track of the number of discs to make. Oh dear, not my strong point but I think my planning and drawing has got better!
